Submissions Open

NOTE - We are currently open for NOVEL submissions for Australian and New Zealand writers and NOVELLA submissions from all writers.

• Please read the submission FAQ before querying.

• This form is for previously unpublished FICTION novels and novellas only. If this is a reprint opportunity, please query using the Contact Us form. If this is an anthology use the Anthology Pitch form.

• Complete ALL sections of the submission form.

• We accept agented and non-agented work. Add the relevant agent details, or omit if not relevant.

• If there are parts of the form that are also included in your query letter, please copy those parts again in the relevant fields.

General Manuscript Formatting (Fiction)

The general goal here is to make us do as little work as possible to clearly read and digest your work!

• Font: 12pt Times New Roman, Calibri, Garamond, or Arial. Please no Courier.

• Margins: 1-inch (2.5cm) on all sides.

• Line Spacing: Double-spaced.

• Paragraphs: Indent the first line (except the first line in each new chapter) using styles or tabs, not the spacebar.

• Alignment: Left-aligned

• Page Numbers: Continuous, starting from page 1 after the title page (usually in the bottom right footer).

• Scene Breaks: Centre *** or # on a blank line.

• Italics: Use the italics function, do not underline.

• File Type: .doc, .docx, .rtf

• Information on top left of cover page: Name, Pen Name (optional), Country, Contact Information, Pronouns, Approx. word count.

• Spellchecked: A few typos here and there won’t matter but do your best to proof the work to a high standard.

• File Naming: Use a clear filename like "YourName-BookTitle"
